2021 reflecction

Hello everyone! Today is the last day of school which is a half day today. We have to do a 2021 reflection. my reflection is making new friends with Ngarangi and other people too. I tried my hardest in all subjects which helped me with my learning and at finish off work. I have taught the teachers some new things all about my culture too. I liked the trip to the Art gallery and Camp. My homeroom teacher next year is Miss Hodgson. I am happy to be a leader at this school and share new thing about the school. I was not happy about the Observatory because the trip got cancelled because the sky became cloudy then Mrs Huriwai had to call our parents to pick us up again.  I will remember all of my friends that are leaving to go to high school i am going to miss Ella-Pearl, Rarika, Ella, Kristhel, Ngarangi, Meinana, and An. I am looking forward to 2022. This might be my last post of 2021... well see you in 2022

Lockdown home learning

 

ello readers! On Tuesday and Thursday we did home learning about writing. Miss Mcleod said we have to about a father figure. I did my Grandfather. i wrote the whole thing in a day. then it took 3 days to get photos from my Grandparents. Miss Mcleod was about to look at it on thursday i just need two more photos from my Grandparents.

hi viewers. today is the first day of lockdown. i did a Minute to win activity. it is called Suck it up. it took me 46 seconds to finish. you will need... M&Ms, 2 plates, and a straw. you put at least 20 to 30 M&Ms start a one minute timer. start ur video. then use the straw to suck up the M&Ms and then transfer it to the other plate. it was very pleasent doing this challenge. Red Planet Have you ever heard of Mars? Did you know there is another name for Mars, the Red planet. Some people say Mars is just like Earth; it has valleys, mountains, weather, and volcanoes. There is a rover on Mars right now while you are reading this! The diameter of Mars is 6,779 kilometers (KM).  The Appearance What is the colour of Mars? The colour of Mars is reddish brownish. The reason why is because its rocks and dust is made out of iron oxide. Iron oxide is also known as the same rust as car rust. That's the reason why Mars is reddish brownish. Moons  While Earth has only one moon planet Mars has two moons. The names of Mars moons are Deimos and Phobos. Deimos is not a sphere like Earths. Deimos has quite a lot of craters. Deimos is a natural satellite. It looks shiny. Phobos is not a sphere like Earth's moon either; it's like a bumpy craters. Year and days On Earth a day is 24 Hours long and a year is 365 days. On the planet Mars a day is 24 hours and 39 minutes long. It's like Earth day. But almost the same day on Earth but it's 39 minutes longer. A year on Mars is 687 Earth days. 322 days longer than Earth's year. Conclusion Therefore I hope you have learned something new about planet Mars. like about its Appearance, moons, and Years and days. People are making many theories of Mars from humans. Scientists are trying to discover new things about Mars. There are many facts about Mars.
